By Provision of December 14, 2022, the possibility of accessing the Digital Export Bonus was also extended to Small Manufacturing Enterprises (ATECO code C from 10.00.00 to 33).
A Small Enterprise is defined as an enterprise with fewer than 50 employees and annual turnover, or an annual balance sheet total, not exceeding 10 million euros.
The Digital Export Bonus is a non-repayable grant of 4,000 euros against at least 5,000 euros of expenditure, for digital solutions useful for internationalization.
It is a project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ICE Agency that aims to support manufacturing microenterprises in internationalization activities through digital solutions such as:
- creation of e-commerce sites and/or mobile apps
- realization of a communication, information and promotion strategy to amplify online presence through digital marketing
- activities (e-commerce, campaigns, social presence) suited to the sector of expertise
- consulting services for the development of organizational processes and human capital
- enrollment and/or subscription to SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms for visibility management and content marketing expenses
