Regione Lombardia is making available important incentives for the internationalization of Lombardy's SMEs, specifically in relation to overseas development projects, participation in trade fairs and website development.
The program will cover costs up to 350,000 euros (with a minimum of 35,000 euros) that are planned within 18 months of regional approval (interventions planned for 2023 and 2024).
The regional intervention includes:
A non-repayable grant equal to 20% of the program
An interest-free loan equal to 80% of the program, with a scheduled amortization over 6 years.
The internationalization program may include:
- Participation in international trade fairs, including virtual ones
- Creation of exhibition or promotional facilities abroad (temporary)
- Communication actions
- Development of web systems for overseas promotion
- Specialized internationalization consulting, including temporary export managers
- Specific staff training
Investment costs may also include the activity carried out by the company's employees.
Applications will be accepted in order of submission, subject to an assessment of the project content, which must be deemed sustainable.
