As dislosed in the previously published news story, the German Packaging Act "VerpackG" has recently undergone changes that include new requirements for the export of packaging to the German market; violation of these provisions carries heavy penalties and a ban on sales.

As a reminder, all exporting companies, including those responsible for occasional or limited exports, if they have not already done so, must compulsorily register on the LUCID portal (electronic register of producers and goods imported into Germany).
