Here are the internationalization vouchers for temporary export managers

The Ministry of Foreign Trade finances contributions for internationalization aimed at micro and small enterprises that want to expand or consolidate in foreign markets.

 

BENEFICIARIES

Small and Medium Entrerprises operating in the manufacturing sector (Ateco code C) with registered offices in Italy, including those set up in form of a network, may apply for the contribution.*

 

WHAT IT CONSISTS OF

The voucher finances the expenses incurred to benefit from consultancy services provided by Temporary Export Managers (TEM) with digital skills, temporarily inserted in the company and registered in the special list of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.

The management consulting contract must have a duration of 12 months for SMEs and 24 months for networks. The Temporary Export Manager's consultancy must be aimed at supporting internationalization processes through:

 

- Analysis and research on foreign markets

- Identification and acquisition of new customers

- Assistance in internationalisation contracts

- Increasing the presence on e-commerce platforms

- Integration of online marketing channels

- Advanced management of logistics flows

 

FINANCIAL ENDOWMENT

- 20.000 euro to micro and small enterprises against a consultancy contract for an amount not less than, net of VAT, to 30.000 euro

- 40.000 euros to the networks against a contract of consultation of not inferior amount, to the net of the Vat, to 60.000 euros

For companies only, it is possible to request an additional contribution of 10,000 euros if the following results on foreign sales volumes are achieved

- increase of at least 15% of the turnover deriving from operations towards foreign countries recorded in the 2022 financial year, compared to the same turnover recorded in the 2021 financial year

- incidence - in the financial year 2022 - of at least 6% of the turnover deriving from operations towards foreign countries on the total turnover.

 

HOW TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION

Telematically from the Invitalia platform in two steps:

1) Compilation of the application: from March 9 to March 22, 2021 (with SPID and digital signature)

2) Submission of the application: from March 25, 2021 to April 15, 2021

 

Granting procedure: evaluative over-the-counter (based on the chronological order of submission)

 

DISBURSEMENT OF THE CONTRIBUTION

At the end of the activities, upon presentation of a report of the expenses incurred.

 

LIST OF TEMPORARY EXPORT MANAGERS

The decree of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of August 18, 2020 establishes the list of Temporary Export Managers (TEM) and TEM companies with digital skills, qualified to provide the services covered by the facility.

Professionals and companies competent in business development processes and digital transformation for export, who have gained significant experience in managerial support in the paths of business internationalization, can apply for registration to the list. The list contains the same information for both professionals and companies, i.e:

- application code (equivalent and listing number)

- Name

- VAT number

- PEC

- Regions where services are provided

 

* MICRO-ENTERPRISES are defined as companies with less than 10 employees and with an annual turnover or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding 2 million euros. SMALL ENTERPRISES are defined as enterprises with fewer than 50 employees and either an annual turnover or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding €10 million. MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES are defined as enterprises with fewer than 250 employees and either an annual turnover not exceeding 50 million euros or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding 43 million euros.
